Halloween 2011: Yard Decor
Finally got the pumpkin tree put together for this year and the witch so that the lights behind her don't shine directly in your eyes as you walk past:

The lighted pumpkin base. It took me a long time to remember how the pumpkins fit together so they wouldn't collapse on one another.
Detail of the witch. There's a cauldron to her left, lit by a green spotlight underneath some wood. There are three cats that you can't see very well in the dark. I can move one closer to the witch but I think I have to light the two other cats separately. I'm going to look for touch lights or placing them slightly behind the witch.
This was the inspiration collage (whatever, I do those, deal with it) for Halloween this year, The Shrouded Dead. Tomorrow I've got to get busy making the life-size cheescloth ghosts because they'll take approximately 36 hours to dry and I only have one armature. Scary!
But hey, at least I'm not this guy:
