This in no way surprises me. Looking at my results, I could have been in any of the four houses. I have a weird, sort of nebulous personality where I exhibit a large range of different character traits at different times (I'm mellow and energetic, determined and lazy, friendly and introverted, etc). In general, personality testing for me tends to be inconsistent or I just run straight down the middle.
I also think this is why I don't have a lot of character or OTP loyalty - I don't identify with a lot of characters so I don't have many extreme emotions about them. I have preferences, but they usually meter out to me liking or at least appreciating everyone.
I would have done well in Slytherin, though.
