Not a tremendously productive week, but more productive than many, so I'll
take it. Sleeping longer on average -- not sure what that indicates.
I finished up $writing-gig-3 and sent in an invoice. It went a lot more
slowly than I'd expected; I'm not sure I can ramp my computer-related
writing up far enough to re-start
Computer Curmudgeon.
I watched the first three episodes of
Foundation on Apple TV. My guess is that I'll stop after my 7-day
free trial is over -- I'm okay with some of the changes they've made, but
some of the others seem to be leading off in directions they can't
possibly connect with what happens later in the books. Which I am
re-reading, of course. Rabbit holes, as usual.
I have been letting mail and other paperwork accumulate unsorted for
altogether too long.

* pack video recorder
~ pack a couple of coasters -> we had several sets of coasters in the house and I can't
find ANY of them. Weird. I did find one of my old hard-disk platters. One.
Possibbly cleaned up in the tea cabinet purge. Cut a pair out of black packing foam.
-> possibly in garage? -> nope

didn't understand UEFI at the time. It's Win7 home premium. Since I already have
Win7 Pro on several machines, I don't need to worry about damaging by trying to
convert it back to GPT, which seems like it would be a good idea.
-> not clear how successful that was
