I didn't get much done this week. Sunday was eaten up by travel back from Mom's birthday party. I actually had a good conversation with a seatmate on the second leg of my trip, thanks to her 2-year-old sitting between us; kids and pets make good conversation starters, even for someone like me who isn't good at starting conversations.
In the spirit of "eat the biggest frog first", I started making French lessons on Mondly the first thing I do in the morning after taking my drugs and writing my sleep stats in to.do. Too early to tell how long I'll keep it up. I've cut back on 7Cups now that I've discontinued my therapy "subscription", so there's some hope I'll do a little more writing.
Along those lines, I started drafting my traditional New Year's Eve and New Year's Day posts. It's also possible that I'll get a "State of the Bear" post out at some random date between now and the end of the year, but don't hold your breath -- the last one appears to have been somewhat over a decade ago. Not sure why I decided to try it this year.

Hopefully the win7 partition got resized and not ruined in the process. Hopefully rewriting the partition table with fdisk will have fixed whatever the gui tool did to it. -> win7 was resized to 85.6G-> * check after reboot -> Cool! It worked!
