| neck/shoulder pain, almost certainly from a bad pillow. Ouch!
at least I can be pretty sure it isn't anxiety this time
* up 8:30ish after dozing since 6ish; coffee; drugs, nose, teeth
* Guitar workshop with Joe Giocoio
cross-handed playing
open tunings. D, G, C families; all have only one string on the 3rd.

& Good talks with Harry Brenner, others
* bed ~1:30
As usual for cons, my note-taking is sketchier. But it was a good,
relaxing day. Lots of good talks with people I don't see often enough.
Joe Giacoio's guitar workshop was great. I was the only one there at
first, so I got to pick the topics: open tunings and cross-hand playing.
Very, very informative. His technique is to give you the "aha" bit of
information that tells you how to learn the rest on your own.
Colleen is enjoying the con, and her increased mobility, immensely, and
needs comparatively little help. The bed is too high for her, though; I'm
going to have words with the hotel on that (though I doubt it will do any
good).
