Still alive
My sister sister comes into town tomorrow. I'm excited, but also under enormous amounts of stress at school trying to get a portfolio together in the next ... two weeks (I've only known about it for two years). Meanwhile, I've been networking at work with the teachers I meet, and even have a card from a high school science teacher at North (St. Paul). But, when he came in the other day, I wasn't entirely sure he was the same guy, even when he asked me about my classes and school, so I botched a good oppurtunity to get into his classroom for my required 30 hours this semester.
Meanwhile, Michael has started high school, and dad leans on me a lot to help pick him up and drop him off at school when he's out of town (like right now, picking up Cathy (my sister) from Schoenstatt). This is adding to my level of stress because I am now finding it difficult to work out, work, go to school, do school-work, pick up/drop off my brother, and sleep. Thus, I have gained weight and have the additional stress that my clothes don't fit. Seriously, two of my jeans have split in the thigh over the last week. And I doubt my quads are that massive from "muscle". *sigh* I hope I can enjoy my sister's visit amidst the many activities that I have planned this month.
