You’ll be playing a pre-release version of the game. We’re still tweaking gameplay, game balance, art, and just about anything else you can think of. What you see in this beta should not be considered representative of final quality. There may be (get ready for it)… bugs! That’s why we need your help in this beta test.
We encourage you to discuss the game and provide feedback in the private Beta forums. If you have not already registered for the beta forums, please make sure you register with the same Windows Live ID you used to register on Connect. Posting information about the beta in the general forums (or anywhere else) OR discussing the game with non-participants is a violation of the NDA you accepted. Breaking the NDA will result in removal from the beta program as well as other repercussions. We take the NDA very seriously.
When you’re playing Shadowrun on Xbox Live, you will show to others as playing Shadowrun Beta. It’s ok for others to know you’re participating in the beta, but you can’t share any information other than “Yes, I’m playing in the beta.”
5. The initial beta invite list is small. While the beta will grow over time you may experience some initial difficulty finding other players for games. To help alleviate this we will be having scheduled play times. These can be found at http://forums.shadowrun.com/forums/thread/22699.aspx .
HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE GAME:
1. Open the Xbox 360 dashboard (you must be connected to Live and logged in with your Gold account)
2. Make sure you have more than 1gb of space on your 360’s hard drive.
a. Navigate to the system blade
b. Select memory
c. Highlight hard drive and check how much space it has free. If it has less than 1gb free:
i. Select the hard drive
ii. Select whichever area you want to delete items from
iii. Select the items to delete
iv. Press delete.
3. Navigate to the Xbox Live blade
4. Select “Xbox Live Marketplace”
5. Select “Redeem Code”
6. Enter the following token code: ***DELETED***
7. The dashboard will fill in the dashes for you.
8. Select Download Now
· If your download is interrupted, navigate to “Xbox Live Marketplace” on the Xbox Live blade, select “Account Management”, and then select download history. You can resume your download here.
To launch the beta go to the Games blade of the dashboard and select “Demos and more.” You should see “Shadowrun Beta” listed. Note that you must be signed into Xbox Live to launch the game.

6. FEEDBACK. If you give feedback about the software to Microsoft, you give to Microsoft, without charge, the right to use, share and commercialize your feedback in any way and for any purpose. You also give to third parties, without charge, any patent rights needed for their products, technologies and services to use or interface with any specific parts of a Microsoft software or service that includes the feedback. You may disclose confidential information only to your employees and consultants who need to know the information. You must have written agreements with them that protect the confidential information at least as much as this agreement.
b. Survival. Your duty to protect confidential information survives this agreement.
c. Exclusions. You may disclose confidential information in response to a judicial or governmental order. You must first give written notice to Microsoft to allow it to seek a protective order or otherwise protect the information. Confidential information does not include information that
· becomes publicly known through no wrongful act;
· you received from a third party who did not breach confidentiality obligations to Microsoft or its suppliers; or
· you developed independently.
d. Remedies. You acknowledge that monetary damages may not be a sufficient remedy for unauthorized disclosure of confidential information and that Microsoft shall be entitled, without waiving any other rights or remedies, to such injunctive or equitable relief as may be deemed proper by a court of competent jurisdiction. Remedies as discussed under this clause may include, but are not limited to, termination of your Xbox Live account with a forfeiture of all privileges related thereto.
8. Scope of License. The software is licensed, not sold. This agreement only gives you some rights to use the software. Microsoft reserves all other rights. Unless applicable law gives you more rights despite this limitation, you may use the software only as expressly permitted in this agreement.
