What's Been Going On...
So I made a very vague post a few weeks back and promised to update. I know---I'm a slacker. Well, lots has happened in the past few weeks.
First, that day, the day of the vague post, I lost my favorite uncle in the entire world. This guy was awesome! Someone who has always been there. He was the male figure in my life after my father passed away when I was younger. Then when I moved to England he wasn't around as often-naturally. That whole situation was very difficult and upsetting. Very hard to deal with. But...I am doing alright now.
Then, with that happening, I started to feel as though someone was cursing me with misfortune and bad luck. I will admit, I got a little depressed and upset that it seemed nothing lately had been going my way. So in order to clear my head, get back to whats normal, I decided to move back home for a while. I really needed this, especially because.....
I am going to buy a house! I have my sights on one that will be available shortly. I am very excited. So although things seem as though they have been crappy for me lately, they are starting to turn around.
My psycho sister has made a turn for the better. She has apologized to everyone about her behavior and is now allowing us to see our niece. I am glad to have that past me and her in different spirits. Of course, what she did was fucked up. But whatever---I'm moving on.
My office moved to Columbia which is PEACHY, since I live there. My commute is now a whopping--10 minutes. I love it! I can get things done at lunch and be home before I say--commute??
I have spent a couple hundred of dollars over the past few weeks on my car. I figure if I invest some dough into her, she will be good to me. So I had some paint touch up work done yesterday, my car detailed last week, new tires a few weeks back, etc. Well, I wake up this morning to find that my step-father has backed into the front end of my car, damaging the paint work that was just done, and denting my drivers side panel. Yeah--it sucks, but he is going to pay for it. Kind of ironic-wouldn't ya say? It is still driveable though. I am not letting it bother me. I think its rather funny.
Other than that--all is well.
