Busy busy!
Full day today...
Morning went as usual...well, sorta. I've been pulling more chores around the house since dad's been spend'n just bout all his time work'n so he won't get fired come next year.
Afternoon, dad wants to do something to de-stress, and offers for me to come to the park. So, we went...got on a really fun trail next to the river (rocks and roots...I was climb'n all over the big rocks).
Saw a lot of flora and shrooms...and wasps. Luckily, they didn't seem interested in us. We watched one wasp fight with a moth (it won, of course, while I had to hold reaaaaally still so its partner didn't sting me when it investigated me).
And then, the wasp started to eat the moth right there. Food chain, and like a documentary on the discovery channel...except we were right next to it.
We got semi-lost on the trail...I say 'semi' before the 'lost' because we were still on the trail, but had no idea where it was going or where we were at one point. We started on a green trail, went to a white one...followed that for a loooooong time...then went down a red trail that I remembered passing when we started that connected the two trails...back on the white trail, then back to the green trail.
I saw this one rock and pointed it out cause if you turned your head and looked at it sideways, it looked like small sand dunes that were gray instead of yellow for sand. I pointed it out to dad and got a strange look...well, more of an amused look.

It was a lot of fun. And, I didn't fall into the water with all the rock-hopping I was doing. Though, by the time we got back to where we started, I was sorely tempted to jump in.

Came home...I did the floors and mowed the lawn. Well...mowed as much as I could. Our backyard is like a sponge. It had only rained 3 days ago, and it was still soaked in spots by the ground. And in those spots, the grass came up to almost my knees.
I tried to mow it...I really did. At least I finished the front yard. I got half of the back yard done before the lawnmower sorta went "screw you" and stopped, then refused to start up again.
^^;;
I think we need one of those HUGE lawnmowers that people sit on to mow that part of the lawn. I'm certainly not doing it.
Soo...ya, I'm pretty tired, XD. But, it was still a lotta fun.
