So, what does one do when playing World of Warcraft while waiting for the chimera-bat ride to drop your character off at the right location or for the zepplin to arrive for a cross-zone trip?
Or, how about those fed-ex quests that has you bringing things just down the road...so you mount up and it still is a long road to traverse. What do you do...?
Draw, of course.
That's what I've been doing. And, I really should start keeping a sketchpad at my desk instead of this pad of graph paper. But, it was all I had, so I started sketching on the graph paper. Eh, the lines are blue...I can easily edit them out in Photoshop if I draw something good.
Which I think I did.
Was working on dynamic drawings...I noticed that, when I browsed through artwork one day on deviantart, some people's character poses even seem dynamic even if they're just standing there. Yet, mine don't. I finally realized what it is. So, I'll probably be experimenting with the nice "V" or "carrot" for a while. It's not just for action scenes!
Anyways, I did a drawing of my character, Matt, from Virtual Hogwarts RPG since I just wanted to try it and his character popped into mind to do since I just finished doing an RP there.
Put it on Deviantart under scraps...here:
