Well, Dad had his eye sergery yesterday.
~DarkDreamer
Today, they removed the padding and he is now out of risk. He has to keep this metle patch with holes in it over his eye for about a week so he doesnt touch the area absently in his sleep and to keep debris out of it.
He was a trooper being totaly blind there for a bit.
When the nurse was telling him "This cup is water and this cup is applejuce, Dad joked "Thank you, Ill figure out which is which when I taste them" then chuckled.
She seemed confused and David smiled saying "He is blind in his right eye". She looked at Dad and noticed the patch was on his left and then put Dads hands on the cups telling him which was which.
The sergery was for pressure that was building up in his eye from Gloucoma and now he has this drain/shunt/plate in there somewhere...not truly sure how that works.
This is not dad, I got the pic off the net to show what he has over his left eye.
