Sure, but historically, most of the mistakes I've made in this position were in *not* doubling 3S.

What is double? Responsive? Partner's gonna pass the double in this case, but that's easily the best spot... AK AK A and 3 spade tricks, no?

You're either doubling and defending 3sx or bidding 4c, after which partner will probably bid 5d.
