Happy Mother's Day
It was an odd one, for sure. One son is not speaking to me. My daughter has been in pre-labor for two days, and my stubborn grandson refuses to be born.
I had a great workout at the gym. I'm loving my new trainer - the old one parted ways with the gym, so now i have James. But he's excellent, and he wore my butt out today. Then i did cardio. Then i was ready to collapse. :D
Despite not having lost any weight in the last 5 weeks, i have continued to lose inches. While looking for something to wear out with the in-laws for dinner tonight, i pulled out a dress that i bought 7 years ago down at the coast. Sleeveless, short, bright - i bought it without trying it on, and have never worn it, having discovered it was too tight. Well, on a whim, i put it on tonight, and not only did it fit, it looked fabulous. So i wore it to dinner with strappy heels. It looked great, though i was a bit uncomfortable since i never wear short dresses.
Took a couple of photos for the hubby, and discovered that in heels, my already large and muscular legs look huge and freaky. He loves it, so i guess it is okay.
All-in-all, a pretty good day. Crossing my fingers that my son will grow up, and my grandson will arrive before i'm scheduled to leave for California to meet him. :D
