My weekend
I don't know why i keep feeling so tired when the weekend is over, I would like to once feel well rested.
Brian and I went to the season opener for the Boise Burn Arena football team we have here in town. We managed to win by, 45 points or some such huge number. It was crazy! But the games are always fun and we do have a blast. It's just an exciting, fun sport.
Other than that, we took it easy. Got some inside cleaning done. I really want to attack my flower bed and get all the evil lilly of the valley out of there so I can get the flowers I want in. I am pacing myself. I wanted to do a vegetable garden this year too, but really, this sort of thing is spendy, so I'm focusing on the two front flower beds, the area around the tree in our front yard and that's it. I am hoping to get it all done, but with the wedding I need to watch my budget, so it's good to just do a few things, and I won't put in the border like I wanted to this year. Brick is just really spendy. It's something i'll save up for next year. Next year I can get a vegetable garden started in the back yard, as well as the flower bed in the side yard where I will plant my lilac bushes.
I'm still hoping i'll be able to do the vegetable garden, but I really want the front to look pretty this year, so I have decided to focus on that. Plus I know more about flower gardens than I do about vegetable gardens, so i'll concentrate on learning some stuff for next year, then i can jump right in!
