I visited Rudi at Brooklyn last night, and on the way home, while peering out of the N train out onto the view of the Brooklyn Bridge against the NY night skyline, I realized that I'm off to college soon. Soon to embark on another chapter. I'm lucky enough to have the opportunity to sever ties to some particularly stressful and frivelous relationships and keep the ones that mean so much to me. I'm moving on, but with attachments in my past life to keep me anchored. Also, I arrived at the conclusion that I should really treat my parents better. And that severing ties means I might never get the books back that I loaned these people . (Not applicable to Dom - although getting my 100 Years of Solitude back would be nice. I have your Yates.)
