Red hot Pistol played an awesome show tonight and it reminded me that I should stop spending every weekend night inside just because I work the next morning. Unfortunately I missed Gods and Kings, but I'll definitely see them next time. Oh yeah, and Jesse fell off the stage... hillarrriiiouuusss!
Lights went out at the mall today... completely. Made it really awkward to sell jewelry. No one was actually allowed in the store, but they could sit at the front bar. People still bought stuff. It's interesting that everyone talks about the "economy" and how "bad" it is right now. But people are willing to rummage through a BLACKOUT at the mall just to buy some diamonds. Yeah... real bad economy. Suuuuure. Anyway, it made for an interesting day at work.
This whole weekend has been weird for me because Joel is out of town working in the Dalles, and our dog is at my parent's place for a little vacation... so I'm rather lonely. I have not been completely by myself for a long time now, and though I used to highly value my solitude, I realize that I appreciate having someone around all the time. I miss him (the bf and the dog haha) and can't wait til he comes home tomorrow night!
Work will probably suck tomorrow because I'm up this late. But I really think it was all worth it. I even got my roommate to come out. Good night, indeed.
