Give me the oil can.

I want to start writing here more. Mostly because I want to keep my thoughts flowing with the lack of school. Okay, so MAYBE I'm feeling a little more stupid now that I'm not in school. My brain just doesn't get the same exercise talking to twits at work. It's hard to articulate my thoughts on the spot, though. Even though I could write essays the hour before they were do, I actually had thought about them nonstop for weeks ahead of time. I take time to explore and understand my topic. So i can't just sit and write, like I'm doing now, and write anything worth reading. But hopefully somehow, writing here can get the juices flowing and I'll stop feeling like such a bum.

Me? I'm really happy right now. Things could be better, but I'm content with everything in my life now. Job is kinda boring, but I'm doing better than everyone in the store, so that makes me feel good. I would really like a job where I can feel like I'm accomplishing something, but that will have to wait until the job market improves. I'm really eager to start riding more, but a change in weather is necessary. I'm getting a wee bit sick of being freezing cold constantly. I've been working out every day which was making me feel AWESOME! Except after I got my tattoo I haven't done much because it's hard to wear any clothes. The impact of running also kinda hurts. I think that in a few days it'll be fine and I can run again. I'm disappointingly not addicted to WoW at all. It's really strange. I thought, "wow once I'm done with school I can finally play WoW without negative consequences to my education!". But now that I have time, I really have no urge for some reason. Like, I want to, but I'm too lazy to keep up with all the shit in the game. I keep sitting around watching TV, but that will stop today since we didn't get that comcast box and HOPEFULLY my roommate will cancel the comcast so we can get verizon. I STILL don't get twitter. I find it lame and extremely lackluster. It speaks volumes about our social world nowadays though. It only lets you do something like 140 characters. This is repulsive because no though worth reading can be summed up to that amount. It's just a shallow, ephemeral notation of someone's current status. Our society is all about instant gratification and receiving information as quickly as possible. I mean, sure, I'll probably get a twitter one of these days the same way I got a myspace. But I don't see it meaningful or worth my time. I don't want a small phrase to be indicative of how I am feeling or what I am doing. I have a tough enough time trying to update my facebook status. Guess that's why I keep the livejournal around. If I'm gonna write something, it needs to have some meat to it. Plus, the longer I make it the more likely no one reads it! Which is OK by me!
