Update

Do you want the good news or the bad news? Well, the good news is, I should have my computer back in a couple days.

The bad news is, it's now about the equivalent of a Commodore 64.

Apparently, despite the anti-virus software I updated regularly and scanned with regularly, I had 3 viruses on my computer. Count 'em, three. Fucking anti-virus my arse. One of them was on there so long, the computer guy said he's surprised the worm hadn't died of old age (and he was only partially joking). One of them has hacked up my hard drive so bad, I'll have about half the space I started with. So what was only a 20 gig hd (which actually was plenty for me) before is now down to about 9. That's bad. I don't like that. I'm quite annoyed by that. If I ever meet one of these people that gets off on writing and distributing viruses, I'm going to kick him really really RILLY hard. Right in his hard drive, if you know what I mean. Which, hello, how could you not because I'm hardly subtle, am I?

On the good news end again, I'll have Windows XP, finally getting rid of the thrice-cursed double-poxed Windows ME, may it rot in computer hell. And my DVD drive is now working again.

So, yeah, it could be worse. I guess.

Hopefully I'll see you all again soon.
Toodles,
:o/
