The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. All was well.

Life was good. Unfortunately, it was a bit too good for Harry's likes. Harry knew he had all he desired, he should be satisfied.

But the lack of danger in his life, it made him feel like a part of him was still missing. Harry was starting to forget the sound of Voldemort's voice, the sudden jolt of being plunged into his mind. Harry knew he should be grateful for such things, but it also troubled him. He was a wizard and he would be alive for many, many years. Yet in nineteen years, nothing had surfaced to compare with Voldemort's power. He never told Ginny, but sometimes he wished for something dreadful to happen. Something to plunge him into the fray once more. The peacefulness of everyday life... it didn't make sense to him.

Harry tried to push these thoughts away by looking at Ginny, Lily by her side. He felt a sudden uncertainty as Ginny looked back at him, frowning at him. Harry put forth a broad smile, scooping up Lily in his arms to hide his hesitation. He heard the whistle of the train blow in the distance as they walked out of the station.

That sounds positively ominous. Does the train-whistle indicate that "something dreadful" is happening?

Oh, I like that Harry can't live an everyday life. Because, yes, I can imagine it must be pretty strange to him. When has his life ever been uneventful? And has he lost his thirst to prove himself, then, in canon?
