Recipient: auxelle Prompt: Snape/Harry - fruit bat animagi mates for life Word count: 195 Rating: PG-13
“It was a potions experiment,” said Snape, already sitting up on the side of the bed. “But it was nice,” said Harry, still sprawled out with a silly grin. They had collapsed there in human form again after making love - no, mating - as fruit bats.
Snape was confused - he was sure there hadn’t been any aphrodisiacs in that potion.
“You know,” said Harry, curling around Snape flirtatiously, “fruit bats mate for life.”
Snape tried to push Harry away. “While that may be true, we are humans. And even if some humans do, I do not.”
Harry pouted for a bit, then seemed to get an idea. “We could at least take a honeymoon somewhere in Southeast Asia. You know, hang in the trees, eat mangos… Ever since we defeated Voldemort, I’ve been wanting a vacation.”
Snape did have a fondness for mangos. “Well ... perhaps.” Although he wasn’t about to admit it yet, the idea did have some appeal. He rarely got to travel, and the jungles would probably be full of fascinating and dangerous ingredients. Besides, if Harry annoyed him too much, he had plenty of potions that called for fruit bat organs.

Is this prompt inspired by the Summary Executions, btw? It seems familiar...
