Summary Executions: Greatest Hits

Aug 22, 2005 18:15

Summary Executions is still taking its post-HBP break, but this is a special burst of nostalgia to celebrate the existence of 30 batches - and the reappearance of Death-Curse.com's fiction section, now HPStories.com.

Ten summaries hand-picked from each batch, all the way back to the first one in March 2003. Enjoy! ;)

300 memorable pre-HBP summaries, in here... )

What's really funny is when the author strives to be hip and ironic and only succeeds in... well... you tell me what she succeeded in doing:

# Remus Lupin is lonely. Mysterious Cliche Ckick X enters Hogwarts. Story takes place in sixth year circa 1976. Surprisingly low character distorion.

My all-time favorite is very simple:

Harry Potter returns in his fifth year to find a transfer student from Scotland.

This summary rules. :D

You are Vladimir Nabokov's secret granddaughter, and I claim my five hundred roubles.

My alltime favourite is, I think, the quiet, philosophical, 'i won nothing. i am a disclaimer.' Sometimes the simple ones are the best. :D

*nods sagely*

It's beautiful in its, er, simplicity.

Yes, my mind boggled so violently....

By a strange coincidence, my favorite is the MIND BOOGLEING. Or maybe "After the war, Lucius became Harry's slave and soul mate. This is the story of their children. Rating chosen for mm relationship, mpreg, no slash". Do you even know what "slash" means, fer cryin' out loud!?

Oh, bloody hell. They're all great. (I did some later in the thread, trying not to do any I'd already done.) This is such damn fun!
