How bizarre, hearing an America-based pundit lecturing al-Jazeera about how popular and influential bin Laden and al-Qaeda are, and to minimize the importance of moderate Islamists calling for democratic reforms. Which, oddly, is exactly what Ayman Zawahiri was saying. Why are so many conservative analysists so insistent on taking bin Laden's side in intra-Islamist debates? (never mind, rhetorical question.)"
