hillside weekend
This weekend was a great time. Paul, myself, and our friends Mark and Marty went up to hillside to see our friend Bill Klemen in a show there. I have never been but had heard a lot of great things about it. What a great time it was. Met a lot of really great people, got to admire quite a bit of beef! and saw a great funny show. We wound up playing some euchre at the bonfire/dance and it turned into strip euchre for me and mark. We were getting our asses handed to us all night, we lost like 9 straight games it was so bad. So every time we lost, I took a piece of clothing off to try and turn our luck. I wound up being in just my shorts, same for mark, which got a bit of a gathering. we met some great people from rhode island whom I wound up changing clothes with! then when I lost for the last time and stood up my new found RI friend decided to pull down my boxers, so I gave a nice show to some people unknowingly!
I can't wait to go back. This time we stayed at a hotel near by because the campground was full, but next time I go I hope to actually camp. There's a bear and a leather weekend coming up so maybe we'll get up there for that! There's a new campground that opened just a year or so ago called the woods just outside allentown which is even closer to me than hillside is. I'll have to check that one out too.
This past week at bowling I had quite an acheivement, I had my first 700 series and my highest game ever. I shot 246, 278, and 199 for a 723 series. WAHOO. It was a great night I was on! I'm really looking forward to the toronto tournament coming up in august. If anyone's going to be in toronto from the 21st to the 26th let me know and we'll meet up for a drink. I imagine I'll spend most of my time between the eagle and Pegasus.
