pride weekend
This weekend is pride, yay....I guess. Apparently no one really remembered it was pride, so there's little to no excitement about it. No big deal, it's at least an excuse to get me to the city. Maybe I'll take a little side trip to infinite piercing.... *EG*
Work's been pretty good lately, I've been full force into a php/mysql/apache project which is developing nicely. I'm also going to an outside source for some flash training and work. Enough nerd speak, but I hope this turns out as well as it might.
I've been trying to find the movie Akeelah and the Bee in movie theatres, but it's only out in like 1 theatre in my area and the only movie time is like 4pm. Ugh. I heard about it before it came out, and it sounded like a great flick. Kind of a the search for bobby fischer meets billy elliot type of thing. It got very good reviews too. Anyone else see it?
My new camera is wonderful, I've been taking pictures up a storm. I'll post some of my more recent ones here. I got it just to get some random candid shots so if you're planning on hanging out with me anytime soon you can assume I'm taking your picture.
On a final note, I'm very excited because a friend of mine found the super mario brothers super show and all the zelda episodes on dvd at best buy. Cha-Ching, that 20$ gift card I got for my birthday is going to come in VERY handy!
