19. If I only had one day to live, what would we do together? Most likely sneak into a strip club, and then after that, I'd kill you myself for the hell of it. (I'd be doing you the favor of going through pain saying goodbye to loved ones if you think about it)

lol. At which point someone would run up to you saying "There was a mix-up at the hospital! Eric just has the clap and he's going to live after all!"...and you'd be like "ooops..." =-P

Sorry if you've answered this before, but where does the name Kanino come from? For awhile, I thought it was after the villain in Hammet's The Big Sleep for some reason, but that's spelled Canino...

Kanino? is a word in Tagalog (main language of Filipinos) meaning Whose? I guess what I was trying to get at with this name is "Whose words are these?" or "Whose body is this?". What do we really own but our words and our self.

Plus my previous name was Kwestchuns and my logo for that was a K with a question mark. I wanted something that fit that and Kanino? just seemed right. AND it rolls off the tongue.

So why MCShutUp?

(btw is Canino a dog in The Big Sleep?)

Cool. "MC Shutup" is the last track on Sage Francis' "Sick of Waiting Tables" CD..... it's a radio freestyle that's really....unique, and self effacing. It's probably my favorite example of how an off-the-top free has it's own qualities different from a serious track, like improv comedy I guess. But the reason I took it as my LJ name is cause I wanted to think of something that hadn't been used yet and it was what came to mind the quickest.

Canino in The Big Sleep is a gangster, the last person Bogart faces off with at the end.

Yeah, me too. But the train in my yard only goes as far as Hogwart's Savannah. Also, I'd probably start hitting on you. I think.....there hasn't been a girl in this room for so long, it's possible I'd get confused and just want you to play old video games and watch Antonioni movies.

Either way, it'd all end in my grizzly murder at your hands =-)
