I'll probably have to flog myself for linking to a GAP commercial , but this sort of has to be seen. Everyone plays up Audrey Hepburn as "classy" and part of innocent nostalgia, but I think she stays modern because she has the faux-urban slumming nymph thing a couple decades before it's time ( Read more... )

Un-huh. Well if the pants become a fad, I'll apologise retroactively for bringing annoyance to innocent friends-pages. In the meantime, I'm noticing a common thread in these responses....a depressing denial of the massive, heart wrenching love for Audrey Hepburn that everyone keeps hidden under their matrice till their parents go out for the night.

Hollie........go lightly

on my name.

What's up? I've been thinking about that Hitchcock vs. Cronenberg thing. I'm doing research, or something. North by Northwest was so-so, but Rear Window was awesome.

Well, I'm not a psychologist. But I guess this is a caution flag that your impulsive behavior could cost you 30 seconds.......even a minute if you're not careful. The internet is no place for impressionable young ladies to be surfing around, clicking everything in sight.

I personally find the ad kind of utopian. I never felt any connection to AC/DC, but now whenever I hear them 47 times a day on the "classic rock" stations at work, I'll think of Audrey Hepburn dancing and get a little happy.

Then, my work van will stall.

how anyone can drive a van and feel no connection to ac/dc is beyond me.
