Baby on the way...
Found out today that my cousin Lori is pregnant. She's 19 and working as a hair stylist, and her boyfriend is, by all accounts, a total loser with absolutely no direction in life. Everyone in the family thought she'd be pregnant before she graduated from high school, but I guess she proved us wrong...by waiting about a year after graduating. She used to be a really smart and down-to-earth girl...then she hit puberty and became a total ditz worried only about boys and nothing else. I really wonder what kind of mother she'll be. I hope she approaches motherhood with exponentially more maturity than she's approached everything else in the last 5-6 years. I wish her the best, and I hope to God she grows up really fast now...
