Hmmm...
...been a while since I updated, hasn't it?
Not much is going on, really. For those of you waiting for a follow-up to my last post, the USI basketball team got spanked in the national title game. Kennesaw State was just an awesome team with a completely smothering defense. They came in on a 26-game winning streak and they even have a 310-pound forward who can shoot the 3-ball. Tough shit to beat. But our boys finished second in the land. Nothin' to snuff at.
Meanwhile...my Blues snuck into the playoffs, thank God. The longest active playoff streak in major league sports is alive and well, at 25 straight playoff seasons. We've got San Jose in the first round, and while it's a 2-7 matchup and the Sharks have home-ice advantage, I really think we can win this series and move on. Should make for some great hockey. I love this time of year...there's hockey on TV virtually every night, sometimes with 2 or 3 games. :)
Went to Indy over the weekend to spend some time with Amber. It was nice to catch up and hang out. Got to do some shopping while in town too. Got some much-needed new shoes and sandals, along with a new alarm clock...all for under $70. Can't complain there. Gotta love good deals on good stuff.
Well, I don't think there's anything else interesting enough to mention, so I'm gonna wrap this up and grab a shower. Hope everyone's having a good spring so far. It actually feels like spring tonight, unlike the past week. Comfortable weather is nice. :)
