Spring ain't here anymore...
Freakin' hell, it's cold outside. It's supposed to get down to 19 tonight. What happened to the warmth? Bring it back!
Last night, Amanda and I went to the weather spotter training. It was a lot of fun. The place was packed...they expected 25-40 people and got about 150 in a room that ideally seats no more than 50. Crazy stuff, but it was cool. We are both now official Skywarn Spotters for the National Weather Service. Woo!
Tomorrow night, Andrea and I are going to go see a movie or something. Maybe "Bad Santa" if it's still playing at the $2 theatre. I've wanted to see it and I haven't seen a movie since "Miracle," so I'm overdue for a trip to the theatre.
Saturday, Amanda and I are off to St. Louis for the Blues/Jackets game. Blues tied Nashville tonight in a really important game. The Columbus game should be a win, since the Blue Jackets aren't very good. Of course, those are the games that the Blues often show up MIA for. We need points in games like this, or the playoffs will wave goodbye just like the spring weather has.
Sunday is WRESTLEMANIA!!! Couple matches really look good and a couple look potentially horrible. Otherwise, it looks like a decent enough show. I'm going to try to put away my jaded internet smark thoughts and watch the show just for the fun and spectacle of it. It's WrestleMania XX, by gawd!
So yeah...should be a pretty fun weekend. After the hectic and stressful (but productive) week I've had at work, I need a good weekend. Yay!
