Colts Win!!!

Third time's a charm, I suppose. Friday night, I went to the USI basketball game...our boys were 11-0 and #1 in the nation in Division 2 coming in, and looked pretty sloppy in getting beat. Then Saturday night, I went to the Blues/Sharks game in St. Louis...Blues half-assed it and got thumped 3-1. So I hoped that my Colts would break my bad luck streak today, and boy did they...dominant 41-10 win over the Broncos. Beautiful. Going to KC next week to take on the Chiefs...that's not going to be an easy game, especially on the road. GO COLTS!!!

Talked to Andrea yesterday...she didn't have but a minute to talk, so I didn't get any more details about her physical condition. She wrote me a letter with details though, and I should get it early this week. I did find out that she's been moved to a different wing and is likely to be discharged by the end of next week, possibly by the end of this week even. So that's good. :)

In other news, the Ice Eagles return to practice Tuesday with 5 fewer players due to academic troubles. Thankfully, they didn't lose anyone terribly important, but just the loss of man power will hurt. I'll be glad to get back on the ice though...hopefully my leg will hold up. No drills for me this time though...I'll be taking a pretty minimal role on the ice this week. Hopefully the guys will play with the same focus they had towards the end of last semester.

Not much else is going on. Back to work tomorrow, as the holidays are over and I won't get another paid day off until Good Friday in April. That sucks, but oh well...it's been nice having 6 paid days off in the last 6 weeks. :)
