Challenge #283: Defend
It's Monday and time for a new challenge.
Challenge #283 is:
Defend
There was a tie, which I broke by a coin toss.
The military contingent on Atlantis is responsible for defending the civilians of the expedition and the base as a whole. The stargate on Atlantis leads back to Earth, making it a valuable target for the Wraith. Friends like defend each other against others, and sometimes you can get defensive when you feel attacked. There's also the defense of your thesis, defending someone in a court of law, or the defense in various sports. And maybe two people in love have to defend their relationship in a society that doesn't accept it.
