“You, you…” There was just really no way to finish that statement.
Sheppard didn’t turn to look at Rodney, only glared out from the shelter they’d found.
“Yes, I. As in ‘just saved your ass again.’ Some credit would be nice, McKay.” And then Sheppard twisted upward, a burst of fire from his P90 obliterating the chance of conversation.
“You should reign in the grin,” was what McKay ended up saying and John turned that grin on him.
“It’s what gets us all the good trade deals.”
“It also gets us into this.”
“Good point.” But his grin was unapologetic.
