Challenge #75: Pride
It's Monday and time for a new challenge. (As always, you can still post as long as it's the 28th somewhere in the world.)
Challenge #75 is:
Pride
Before being voted for this week, we've had pride as one of the options in the seven sins poll. Over the years many must have thought Rodney or the Atlantis expedition (or terrans) as a whole guilty of that sin. But there's the more positive interpretation of the word. John and Rodney have reasons to be proud of themselves and I'm sure they had numerous moments where they were proud of each other and their friends and colleagues. You could write about one of those moments or maybe a moment of pride that they longed for but never got. Then there's gay pride, something which we haven't seen in abundance on Atlantis in canon, but which surely can be found in small or maybe big ways. Who's to say there couldn't be a gay pride parade in Atlantis once DADT is history?
