As Rodney realizes he's been fooled, John slowly smiles, huge and warm and sly and happy.

I *love* that smile! It was one of my favourite moments, too!

I did read the whole thing! :D

And I found the last question/answer especially fascinating. I can definitely feel the amount of effort you put into your work, because it comes across as effortless. That's not easy to do.

But yes, fanfiction is all about the gloriously wacky self-indulgence! If not, we wouldn't have any of that wonderful crack fic that seems to especially make SGA so fantastic.

Gold star for making it to the end. :-)

So true about the crack fic, too: those stories make me so happy! I need to lighten up.

I love the dialogue in Two Left Feet: it's just perfectly in tune for both of them. I love what you have to say about gaining the readers' trust, and I like the insight about romantic angst being what we have in common with the characters, no matter how different their fictional lives are from ours. Lots of food for thought!

Always fascinating to read your answers.

You could do outtakes with your self-indulgent bits, they sound like fun.

Well, if I manage to finish my Big Bang, I'm sure I'll be leaving in all the self-indulgent bits of that, because I won't have time to edit them out! :-)

Thank you for doing the interview! Your responses are very interesting. What you said about romantic angst rings so true. :)

Also I noticed that you skipped the "how are you so awesome" question. ;)

I wouldn't know how to answer that one at the best of times, and right now isn't the best of times for me, in terms of writing confidence. Or anything else. :p

I'm glad you got something out of the interview! Thanks for asking a great question.
