1. About you:

• Pirates or ninjas? I do like a well-dressed pirate.
• What's your favorite pizza topping? Pepperoni.
• What if anything do you listen to while driving? In town, nothing. On the road, classic '70s rock n roll.
• How do you take your coffee? I like a little coffee with my cream and sugar.
• What's the strangest pet-related thing that ever happened to you? I had a dog that was half Samoyed, half Basenji; she didn't bark - she yodeled.
• Would you like to live somewhere else and why? I'd like to move away from Wisconsin. I'm tired of snow. And I'd really like to live somewhere close to my online friends. Coffee in the morning enhances the creative process. Coffee with other fanfic writers makes for better fanfic!

2. About your creative processes:

• How did you get into writing fanfic/creating fanart? I started writing/drawing for Original Trek - when I was five years old. How long have you been creating fan art or writing fan fiction? Forty-six years.
• As far as creative processes go, what type of writer/artist are you? Do you create an outline/find photo references/make maps, etc., or do you jump in and go with the flow? I go with the flow - right up until I need the references and research.
• Do you write original fiction (poetry, screenplays)? Yes. Do you create original art (comics, photographs, quilts, wedding cakes)? Yes. Care to share? No.
• How do you write? Get a bunny and just launch into it, always on a word processor, quietly when there are no distractions. Do you procrastinate? Yes and no. I walk away and let the story brew; take a nap, make icons, have a cup of coffee. It'll work itself out.
• Same with art - hand-draw first, or all digital? All digital, no music. I find music very distracting. I'm hearing impaired so when I listen to music, I need to listen. How long do you tweak the details before deciding it's finished? As long as the art tells me it needs.

3. About SGA:

• Is SGA your main squeeze or are you poly-fandom-ous? While I enjoy watching other shows and a variety of films, I'm really only active in the SGA fandom right now.
• Why did you decide to participate in this year's McShep Match? Because neevebrody bribed me with chocolate.
• Best thing about McKay/Sheppard: There's something very special about finding love and companionship when you're older, when you're not really looking anymore, and it surprises you, turns your world upside down.
• Who's your favorite, John or Rodney (or both)? Both. How come? They bring out the best and worst in each other.
• Where can people find more of your work (McShep or otherwise)? On my LJ.
• What got you into fanfic/SGA/McShep? A friend recced beadattitude's Checkmate. I've been hooked ever since.
• Favorite story/artwork/vid/creative fanthing? ALL OF IT!!!!

4. Hiiiints! C'mon, you know you wanna! Just a bit of squee about your Match entry… Just a bit? Hmmm. How about …no, can't say that. Um, well, no, that'll give it away. Well, there's this thing that…no, sorry. Oh, hey, John and Rodney are in it!
5. Oops, did we leave out something? What question do you wish we'd asked? Is this food free?

6. Team Captains' Question: Okay, redshirt, you've signed on for a very dangerous mission to go back in time and it could be a one-way trip. I should add that while every effort will be made to keep you within the dawn of civilization - we really don't know where that dial will stop. But you are allowed one personal item… name it. A time-traveling puddlejumper.
