I began to get story ideas of my own I love it when that just happens. That's when I knew I actually had to start watching SGA. I couldn't stop thinking up new stories about them.
It's where my inspiration lies and it always makes me quite sad to hear rumblings of SGA being a dead fandom where no good fic exists any longer. So much this! I know that it's not the avalanche of stuff every day that we got when the show was still running, but I have yet to see an sga_newsletter that says, "Sorry, nothing to post for today."
In canon, the relationship seems to be a heart-wrenching, unrequited love story underlying a one-of-a-kind friendship Waaah, yes! And I love John so much that I have to make it better for him.
