They totally got out. Happy endings, yay! This was a very intriguing read - the boys being separated but able to talk was interesting :D The Ancients were pretty crazy. What if someone accidentally fell and was transported to the meditation rooms? With all the redundancies, you'd think they'd put in, they'd put in a few backup ways to get out. Then again, these are the Ancients!

But yes, they definitely got out :D
