McShep Match 2013 Teams, Schedules and Captains
Thank you to everyone who voted in our polls. We can now officially announce that the teams for our seventh and final McShep Match will be:
Team Cool vs. Team Fine!
We're very happy to say we have two of our most enthusiastic supporters and participants joining us as Captains this time, so please welcome the fabulous melagan (Team Cool) and the amazing reddwarfer (Team Fine). Whichever team you end up on, we know you'll be in good hands!
For this year we have extended the sign-up period, so this means the early part of the fest will run as follows:
- Sign-ups will open when we officially open the fest, and will remain open for a week.
- During this week the Drabble Tree warm-up challenge will take place.
- At the end of the week we will assign team members and confirm your prompt from the list of preferences chosen in your sign-up comment.
- While team members settle into their communities, we will run the Icon Challenge - the winning team will receive a slightly later deadline for their fest entries as usual.

Drabble tree - Saturday 1st June - Saturday 8th June
Sign-ups close - Friday 7th June
Icon challenge - Saturday 8th June - Saturday 15th June
Deadlines - Wednesday 24th July and Friday 26th July
Posting starts - Thursday 1st August
If you're not sure about anything right now, don’t worry. We'll post a full FAQ as usual on fest opening day and you’ll have a full week to ask questions and sign up. Anything urgent, just ask us in the comments, otherwise we hope to see you back here on May 31st!
