Rodney's dream really freaked me out, so I could see where it would freak him out too! But his conversations with everyone, especially with Jeannie, were an absolute riot! What a charming story! :-)

I enjoyed the ways in which Rodney's nightmare, summing up a 'worst case' scenario of his fears about John's responses to Rodney's being "out of line, propels him into a series of intense, stressful and unhelpful (but funny, too) conversations. These are nothing at all like the low-key and intimately comfortable interaction he finally has with John when they get a chance to talk. Sometimes talking about nothing (which the pair do a lot) can be everything.

Lovely fic! Woobie Rodney is always made of win, as he agonizes over John's reaction to his declaration of feelings. And, I loved his conversations with Jeannie and his friends, as they react to his intentions towards John. :)
