that was cute. And the idea of anyone calling Rodney "Merry," even as dog, is just hillarious.

Rodney makes a pretty good dog! I liked that his frustration with being unable to communicate with John was clear even in John's POV, but that he always found a way to get his point across, like breathing on John's hand until he started reading aloud.
