Oh damn, damn, damn, I love this! I love the Vegas verse anyway, and the use of the Meatloaf lyrics was inspired! The gaping maw of the bat coming out of the flames and the oranges and reds of the car and the desert... just love this! Add to that the poignancy of how damaged Sheppard is in the universe, and how he *would* run but keeps coming back to Rodney is just perfect.
