Welcome to McShep Match 2012: Space and Time!
We're very grateful to ladyofthelog for producing the official artwork for McShep Match this year - do take a look at the community layout if you're reading this on your friends page, and our Space and Time team communities which you can find at mcshep_space and mcshep_time.
Please don't try to join the team communities yet - there may be things to watch there once we start (it's up to the teams how they use the communities) but only those who are on the team itself will be members of each community, and they will be added when we announce the final teams. Thanks!
Now it's time to unveil our official fest icons:

You will have the chance to make more icons to support the teams in our Icon Challenge, of course, so look out for that starting right after sign-ups.
This year's Rules and FAQ post is up now here. Please take a look whether you are planning to participate as a writer, artist, vidder or reader as it contains useful information, particularly on signing up and eligibility if you have dropped out of McShep Match in the past.
The only real change this year is that all places on the teams are open to writers, artists or vidders, with none reserved for artists in particular. This means that if you're one of those multi-talented types you don't need to decide right away which to sign up as - you can see how inspiration strikes.
