Schedule for the rest of the fest
Just one week of posting left to go!
Since we revised the schedule once already, we held off announcing any end of fest dates too early just in case LJ had more downtime. Things are looking okay at the moment, however, so here goes:
Thursday 8th September is the final day of posting. We'll be giving you a reminder then of how long you have to vote.
Voting will close on Thursday 22nd September - Yes, we're leaving two whole weeks after the end of posting for voting this time instead of the usual 8 days or so. There are a lot of long stories this year and we want to give everyone a fair chance to be read and voted on.
The results will be announced on Friday 23rd September- Time to celebrate with the winning team and commiserate with the other, and participants will be able to collect their Winner/Runner-up banners and icons! The winners of the comment contest will be announced and prizes awarded.
As always our teams are encouraged to beg, bribe, and blackmail for votes, but remember it's meant to be a bit of friendly competition! Also please remember not to ask people to vote for your team based solely on the character it is named after. This hasn't been a character popularity contest so far, and we don't want it to start now.
Anyone who had to drop out because they couldn't meet their deadline but still managed to finish their entry in the end, or who have any additional material for their prompt (artwork created for it etc.) - we'd love to post these on the community or link to them if you finish them in time. Please submit any such stories or artwork by September 20th and we'll include links on the Masterlist.
