Humor, banter, ridiculously hawt sex, and references to bad movies, all in one package of brilliant McSheppy goodness? YES PLEASE!
First off, I really like the ways in which the story shifted: it started out very much like an episode of Atlantis, moved into some Jungian dream-like imagery that creatively forced our boys into facing some fears, then got hot and heavy in the bedroom scene. The transitions were deftly handled and largely unnoticeable because the themes bled into each other and the shifts blended the whole story very cohesively together.
Secondly, GREAT USE OF PROMPT! The Titanic reference was HILARIOUS, and apt, and I love that the title points more to the fact that John and Rodney's relationship is unsinkable. They may have literally abandoned one ship on the lake, but they would never abandon each other. And John would TOTES wanna have sex in the back of the Ancient subway car! Triple word score ( ... )

The idea of the Iratus bug's leg hanging over the side of the rowboat was horribly creepy to me, for some reason. *shiver* Poor John!
