Oh! This is incredible. Really powerful and it resonated with me a great deal emotionally. I really watched to hug John, because of how we see him through Rodney. And the title is just absolutely perfect for the story. Fantastic!

Love the way this is very spare, and kind of stranged at first, a bit like a dream in that it takes a while to figure out what is going on.

I really love this, for the elegantly indirect way it glimpses into John's psyche in between Rodney's work and sleep and session with Kate. It's romantic without be overly sentimental, and the suggestion of bravery and risk there at the end is fabulous.

Also? Thanks for not making Kate into some kind of Freudian whack job, and for allowing Rodney to understand that she is helping him even if he doesn't really understand how. It was a freshing change from how fanon usually paints both of them. ♥

I like the stripped-down style. Especially when we can see the way the dreams are affecting John, before Rodney's figured out what's going on.
