Hi, I'm Cate, and I'll be your interviewee today!
1. How long have you been writing fan fiction?
That really depends on whether we're factoring in my past lives as well as this one. I had a rollicking good trade in Marc Antony / Cleopatra RPF back in the day - and if you think rewrites are hard now, thank your stars you didn't have to chip out four versions of glyphs on the junk stone before anyone'd let you have a real piece of basalt.
2. Have you participated in any other fandoms?
I got my start in the Antiques Roadshow fandom - god, those were the days. I wrote a couple of great stories about the ongoing intrigue between the American folk art collectors and a man from Raleigh, whose mother had known a man who once knew a man who had an urn -- but that was before Tiffanygate '04 and the explosion of First Edition Herman Melville wank. I left round about the time people started writing Puritan pie dish porn, and went to my second love - Flavor of Love fandom. Oh Flav.
3. What do you enjoy most about SGA and/or SGA fandom?
The deep philosophical similarities between the approach of the writers and Plato's best works. Also [this].
4. Why did you choose to join Team Angst/Team Romance?
trinityofone blackmailed me. Seriously - there is no such thing as a free trip to the Riveria of South Dakota, as I have learned to my chagrin. *shakes fist at digital cameras*
5. Where can interested readers find more of your work?
Folsom Prison. Also in my memories, [here]. Also at the public library in Hoot Owl, Oklahoma. And on the walls of many fine bathrooms across the length and breadth of NYC.
