Icons to watch out for! Love what you did to the gate: I would definitely wear a watch like that! And your fourth one is so angsty, but I think I like the fifth best, it reminds me of old TV comedies ("The McShep Hour, sponsored by -- Asuran ZPMs!")

As everyone knows by now, I'm just no good at the icon-making. Here are 4 that are decent, variations on one image, and 4 that are... icons (including two that look like space itself is whumping Sheppard). Background images are from NASA's Astronomical Image of the Day.

I love no. 8 - the space-whump one the best I think! Great font in no. 7, too. I think in the top ones, Rodney's hiding behind John, because spaaaace! John's totally up for it, though.

With 1-4, John's totally casting himself in the role of Defender of the Universe ("note my broad shoulders and arm muscles!"), and Rodney's like, "waaait a minute, let's think before we rush into things" (he know that "In SPACE, nobody can save you from whump"). I like how icons are tiny, so it's harder to notice the mistakes *g*

They are asstronauts, totally! And John would absolutely make bad puns like that and then laugh like a dork while Rodney spluttered! :D

"Yes, Rodney, fine, you've --" and somehow John managed to make airquotes during sex -- "gone where no man has gone before. Now shut up about it."

"I laughed at your lame pun," Rodney muttered; at least being annoyed kept him from coming ridiculously fast.

John made his laughable seductive face, grabbed Rodney's hips, and purred, "Come on, split my infinitive, baby."
