That's right folks, believe it or not I actually overestimated how much time it would take me to do something! I'm going home for Spring Break today, and my mum took the day off so she wanted me to leave at a reasonable hour. Thus, I figured that I'd actually pack in advance for once instead of just frantically throwing stuff in a bag an hour after I'm already supposed to be on the road. I actually started packing last night, and I continued (and finished!) this morning. Since I seem to have a habit of somehow always managing to underestimate how long things will take me, I figured that I'd give myself what seemed like enough time to take care of everything. Some may say that getting up at 6 in the morning when you don't have class until 11 is a little psychotic, but I've already packed up my car and am ready to go, so no complaints here! I'm sorry about going on and on about this, but it's just such a rare occasion that I figured I'd better do something to remember this monumental occurrence.
I would also like to just take a moment to pay my respects to the late Herman and Geisha. You were both wonderful pets. You never were too noisy and always had a way of lighting up a room. Well, that is when your tank was actually clean enough for us to see you. Herman, you left this world yesterday evening, and Geisha, you followed in his footsteps after just a matter of hours. I'm not sure what ailment took our dear Herman, but I'm pretty sure Geisha died of a broken heart. At least you two are together again, reunited by a similar flushing sound. May you spend eternity embraced in each others fins and know that your legacy will live on throughout the ages.
