I know what you mean. The summer is over and I wonder what happened to the time I had planned on using for writing. So which town is that? Are you back home for the summer and anticipating going back to school?

Since the last time we livejournal-commented I've moved to Oregon in order to finish my MFA at Oregon State. It's been great here. Corvallis is a good place to be.

I'm excited about a two-week collaberative retreat I was awarded with another writer in the program, we leave today for it, and will be there for two weeks doing some guilt-free writing. Nothing but writing for two weeks. Well drinking of course, but nothing else to distract. They're throwing a little bit of money over our way and giving us a small audience at the end of the two weeks to read some of our work. It's a really nice situation actually. And then the return and the begginging of school.

So making/writing music? What do you play/compose on?

hey do you have facebook? find me there under casasr@onid.orst.edu

ok, this probably being my last entry for two weeks (no internet access at the cabin) i'll talk to you soon.
