The special screening of Il Conformista in LA was worth every effort. I only wish someone would release it on DVD already. Or maybe not. I'd hate to tire myself out watching over and over and over. The MFA reading went well last night. No one seems to want to tell me to quit while I'm ahead: I always read one thing too many and that usually brings it all down. I ordered the six texts for the MA exam (February 4th) and will attempt at reading all of them over the two weeks i'll be back in Oregon. I'm attempting a continous reading of Paradise Lost. I hear it will take ten hours from cover to cover and that reading aloud with friends make it that much easier. Any takers?
Films I want to see:
Shopgirl (when I finish the novella)
The Producers
Brokeback Mountain
I have two papers to start and finish. One final to prepare for.
Calvino's If On a Winter Night a Traveler is a great book.
